Dear Sirs!
It is with great pleasure that I write
to thank you personally for accepting
the use of SignWriting in your school
for deaf children. SignWriting is a new
idea. There are, presently, 27 countries
trying it for the first time. And I feel
very honored indeed, that Saudi Arabia
and the Arabic Nations are among them.
I
am particularly impressed with teacher
Mohamed Ismail Mahmod Abushaira, for his
patience and untiring devotion to translating
the SignWriting instruction manuals into
Arabic and Arabic Sign Language. This
is a major task and I am quite delighted
that he was able to give me such excellent
files! I will now post them on our
SignWriting Web Site. I hope you will
visit:

As
you know, several years ago, Saudi Arabian
Abdul Aziz Al-Obaid was interviewed about
SignWriting. There is a web article that
includes Abdul Aziz's interview, along
with a photograph of H.R.H. Prince Bandar
Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Arabian
Ambassador to the United States:

If
there is anything that you need to further
help your Deaf students learn SignWriting,
please tell me.
Many
blessings,
Assalamu alaikum!
