Hmmmm. This is a HUGE answer!

So rather than overwhelming everyone, myself included (grin), I can share
with you that I have already started working on the beginnings of a
SignWriting Linguistics Forum that I hope to announce in the Fall. The
first article in the new Linguistics Forum will be an article comparing
notation systems. Three others and myself are working on this idea.

But this is not really answering your questions, Leslie! So I will give you
