QUESTION 0083:
What are the differences between the dotted-lined elbow circle symbols, and the ones that are not dotted?

ANSWER 0083:
The circles from the elbow can be written with either the dotted-line version, or with the newer smooth-line version. They mean the same thing. The dotted-lined circles for elbow movement are the older symbols. They were changed by some writers to become smoother, a typeface or style difference. You are welcome to choose either one, to write the same movement. The diagram to the right, shows which symbols mean the same thing:
