Introduction: Return to Basics

And while we are back to basics..

Remember being this age?

At that age we wrote rows and rows of A, B and C:

First we wrote rows and rows of block letters.
Some people call that "printing",
but of course, it is printing by hand, not by machine!

Years later, we learned to connect the block letters,
making a "cursive handwriting":

Shorthand is different... Gregg or Pitman Shorthand are two different English stenography systems used by secretaries.
And court stenography is typed on special machines.

In other words, the term "shorthand" does not mean "writing quickly". It is a term connected with stenography, and takes special training.
