What's New in SignWriter
4.4?
1. Improved Export Command creates BMP-SignWriter
files, placing them on a white background automatically, with
better quality than the old PCX format.
2. SignWriter-PDF files can be created if you own SignWriter
4.4 and Adobe Acrobat. This new feature makes it possible to
"print to a postscript file", which Acrobat can convert
into PDF format.
The SignWriter-PDF files can be opened, read and printed on
Macintosh, Windows, and Unix platforms, reaching a wider audience.
This also solves printing problems. Do you have a printer that
refuses to print from the old SignWriter 4.3? Well...now this
is solved with SignWriter-PDF files!
3. More countries (17), more spoken languages (10),
ColumnMaker, better shareware to give to others, and 9 instruction
documents in Acrobat PDF format which you can read on screen,
or print for future reference.
4. Certain problems in SignWriter 4.3 are now fixed.
The program works smoother.
Why Upgrade? ...Why Not
Download the Shareware?
1. The Shareware is for ONE country only. It does
not include all 17 countries.
2. The Shareware is available for the US, German and
German-Switzerland versions. You can download those countries for free at any
time....
3. If your country is NOT one of those three, then
you have no choice but to upgrade.
Upgrade Information
1. Have you purchased the SignWriter Computer Program
in the past?
2. Or...did your classroom receive a donated copy of
SignWriter, because your
class is participating in the SignWriting Literacy Project?
Either way, you are entitled to a free upgrade from SignWriter
4.3 to SignWriter 4.4, with two requirements (see below)...
Two Requirements
1. Your SignWriting Membership dues must be paid for
this year. Membership is $15.00 per year. You can send in
your membership by credit card directly on the web .
2. You are willing to accept the upgrade by downloading
it from a special web page. The files will be compressed, but
once expanded, will include the complete SignWriter 4.4 program
for 17 signed languages and 10 spoken languages. You will receive
free documentation and technical support to help you ...;-)
